About Us

Owner Mike Cordova founded artistic Design Engineering & Construction in 2012. Mike grew up in a construction family. His father, uncle and grandfather were builders and he grew up helping alongside them since childhood learning the fundamentals of residential building. Mike has improved homes throughout the years for friends, family and clients. He received a civil engineering degree in 1986. He is a registered civil engineer practicing for twenty-six years. His engineering experience includes residential land development and transportation design build and construction. This experience has taught him how to work with clients and permitting agencies. It has taught him how to prepare plans utilizing the latest design software and how solve a multitude of design issues. Mike has also been an artist since childhood enjoying drawing, painting, woodworking and mixed media sculpture. He has grown that experience into incorporating creative home designs with an artistic flare and then constructing them to fit into their environment. These experiences are the foundation of Artistic Design Engineering & Construction.
